Aileen’s interest in art developed in the late seventies as pain therapy for a back injury.
Aileen attended TAFE as a mature age “Fine Arts” student where she studied the art of porcelain painting with Bobbie Fennesey. She then continued and completed a 3-year course in the “Art of Drawing” tutored by Graham Quarterly.
In 1981 Aileen was accepted into the Australasian Porcelain Art Teacher Inc. and has completed a number of private commissions.
Aileen’s interest in the arts expanded in 2017 to included acrylic painting.

Born in Northam, Western Australia, Lesley Curtis now resides in the South West of WA
She is a hobby artist who enjoys painting in watercolour, gouache and acrylic with the occasional accent of air brushing techniques. Lesley has received a number of awards including the Alcoa Aluminium Australia acquisition prize for 2017.
Lesley finds her inspiration in nature, the colourful world of birds and wildlife as well as renowned Australian wild life artists William T Cooper and Paul Margocsy.
Both Lesley and Aileen are active members of the Busselton Art Society Inc. and exhibit with the group on a regular basis.
