This image reflects my fascination with art and science, both of which are vocations for me. All aspects of the image and frame (Treeton Fine Wood Studio) are built around the Golden Ratio which can be witnessed in many plants and animals, human anatomy, architecture and art. The square image to the left represents the constant of the wondrous beauty in nature; whilst the image to the right references both the precision and beauty in mathematics, and man's attempts to subdue nature and bend it to his will. As a result of this subversion the equilbrium of nature has been disrupted resulting in catastrophic changes to climate, and conditions conducive to the emergence of novel viruses and other pathogens. We must be wary, lest we become victims of the wasteland we are creating.
